Burning Nest is one of the UK's highest-signal talent-density events. You already know this — that's why you keep going back. But the question isn't whether to go. It's whether you're going to ship your best self while you're there, or spend two days distracted by a malfunctioning gas canister.

Camp Apex is a burn-hacking framework. We've iterated on the festival experience over three years, A/B tested everything from yurt layout to meal timing, and converged on a stack that lets founders move fast and break paradigms. We turned down three Series C founders, two GPs, and a former cabinet minister last year. We're building a cohort, not a guestlist.

"I've been to Burning Nest four times. First time I actually shipped something meaningful on the Monday after. Closed a follow-on at the airport on the way home."
— Camp Apex member, Series B founder, £34M raised

Our north star metric is insight-per-hour. We optimise everything — nutrition, sleep architecture, session cadence, and cohort composition — against that single KPI. The outcome is a measurably higher-ROI festival experience, compounding across every day you're on site.

We're ruthless about who we let into the system. We look at your trajectory, not just your title. We vet for sector diversity, growth-stage mix, and the kind of intellectual horsepower that makes serendipitous collisions compound into something real. If you've been referred, say so. It matters.

"Closed a £340k SAFE with someone from the cohort. We'd known each other six hours. I gave a talk Saturday afternoon — he was in the front row. We signed the note on Tuesday. I'm not saying that happens every year. But it happened."

"My WHOOP showed 91% HRV recovery on Sunday morning. That's a personal best. At a festival. The sleep stack in the yurt, the macro protocol, the fact I wasn't assembling tent poles at midnight — it compounds. My team noticed the Monday I got back."

"I post consistently on LinkedIn. The talk I gave Saturday got 41,000 organic impressions by Monday morning. I've spoken at SaaStr. I've spoken at Web Summit. A Saturday afternoon session in a forest in Hampshire outperformed both. I'm still thinking about why."

Ready to become an Apex Burner?
We'll read your LinkedIn. We're not sorry.

We don't accept everyone.

That's not elitism — it's curation. The cohort only works if every person in it raises the median. We review your profile, your company, your trajectory. We look at what you're building and whether the room gets smarter when you walk into it.

Applications are not first-come-first-served. We aim to respond within 5 working days. A 30% deposit holds your place; the balance is due 30 days before the event. If you've been referred by a current member, include their name — it carries weight.

Questions? Email hello@campapex.co — but read the programme page first.

Common questions.

Do I still need a Burning Nest ticket?
Yes. Camp Apex membership covers your accommodation, food, programming, and facilities. You still need a standard Burning Nest ticket to access the event, purchased via the official Burning Nest platform.
Is this official Burning Nest infrastructure?
Camp Apex is an independent camp operating within Burning Nest. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Burning Nest CIC. We operate in accordance with the ten principles — we consider premium infrastructure to be our gift to the community.
What's the deal with the Starlink?
We run a dedicated Starlink terminal for camp members. Coverage is strong throughout the Apex area. We encourage members to be intentional about when and why they connect — but we're not going to take away your ability to monitor your portfolio.
Can I bring a partner or guest?
Guest access is available for partners or colleagues on request. Guests have access to the dining and bar facilities but do not participate in programming or the curated introduction service. Guest pricing on application.
What's the cancellation policy?
The 30% deposit is non-refundable. The balance is refundable up to 30 days before the event. After that, your place may be transferred to another applicant on our waitlist, subject to approval.
